LinkedIn Learning: Stop Motion Animation

A couple of days ago I rented out a green backdrop, clamps stands and LED lights from the Student Store in New Adelphi. All of this was so that I could animate the closing of several stop motion doors within a scene, for my Short Film Project. Whilst I was really excited at the prospect I quickly came across multiple problems with my set up which hindered the outcome of my stop motion. Unfortunately I no-longer have the time to re-attempt this and while I'm not best pleased with the current outcome I know it will do for now and can always be adjusted in the future. I think the main issue was I’ve never done stop motion before nor have I attended a course or lecture on it. I have a basic understanding of how it works and I then combined that with other techniques I've learned like photography set up and lighting techniques.

I’ve selected this course because if I want to really understand how to use stop motion in the future I really need to broaden my knowledge on it.
